Puppy mill animals in shelters care

STAMFORD - When Spirit, Callie and Sherman, 4-year-old shepherd-mix dogs, were dropped off at the Stamford Animal care & Control shelter this week after their owner was sent to Riker’s Island for drug possession, officers and volunteers became worried they were running out of space.
